A User of the website www.studio-habitat.hr, or of the services of KITCHEN POINT j.d.o.o. in general, is any legal or natural person who in any way, whether directly or indirectly, uses or has used, accesses or has accessed the website www.studio-habitat.hr, or has used the services (hereinafter: the „User").
The website means all web pages and parts of them located within the domain www.studio-habitat.hr.

This Privacy Policy sets out the terms and rules relating to how the User's personal data is handled, and explains how personal data is collected, processed and protected.
At KITCHEN POINT j.d.o.o. we know how important privacy and the protection of personal data are to our users, and we therefore want to be clear about how we collect, use and store personal data.
This Privacy Policy applies to any website under the domain www.studio-habitat.hr owned by KITCHEN POINT j.d.o.o., and to any access to services over the internet, regardless of whether users access them from a computer, a mobile phone, a tablet or another smart device.
By using this website, Users indicate that they agree with the terms and rules set out here and consent to use the website www.studio-habitat.hr and other services over the internet in accordance with them.
The right to use this website and these services is a personal right of the User and may not be transferred in any way to other natural or legal persons.

Other data we may collect about the User, about their use of the website www.studio-habitat.hr or about their use of our services, the type and manner of collection of which we will explain at the point where it is collected, and which we will process with the User's consent. The User may decline to provide certain personal data, but this may affect their ability to use certain services. The User is obliged to provide certain data, and KITCHEN POINT j.d.o.o., as the controller, is obliged to process it in accordance with the law.
How do we use the data?
Personal data collected from the User may be used for the following purposes:
- In connection with the use of our services, that is, to be able to answer the User's specific enquiries.
- To make contact, which may include processing data in order to prepare a business plan or a quotation.
- To improve the general user experience on the website, to understand the User's wishes and needs, and to improve our services.
- To provide more relevant advertising, that is, to deliver advertisements that match the User's interests or are based on the User's behaviour and activity on the website.
- To send promotional messages by e-mail, such as notices of special offers, client benefits, promotions, discounts and educational material.

For the purpose of processing the User's personal data we use applications and platforms that are our contracted data processors and with which we have a data protection agreement in place:
G Suite — the platform we use for the whole set of Google business applications, which may contain the User's personal data, and for e-mail communication with partners and with prospective and existing users of our services.
How do we store the data?
We store the User's data on our own servers located in Croatia and on the servers of cloud service providers located in the EU and the USA.
We store and process only that data, and only from those users, for which personal consent to processing has been given, and for purposes that do not go beyond those set out in this Privacy Policy. In the exceptional case of storage and processing not covered by this Privacy Policy, the User will be informed of it in advance. The protection of the privacy of personal data is ongoing, and we take all measures to protect it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
Under the law, data is kept for 10 years, while under the Accounting Act accounting data is kept for 11 years.

How do we protect the User's personal data?
We take the User's personal data and its protection seriously, and we continuously apply appropriate organisational, physical and technical measures to protect all the personal data we collect.
To protect personal data we have taken a number of measures:
- A KITCHEN POINT j.d.o.o. policy on the protection and processing of client data.
- An assessment of the risk and security of the IT equipment and servers on which personal data is stored.
- The use of secure and dependable servers for data storage.
- Careful and responsible selection of data processors, and the signing of data protection agreements with all data processors.
- Training of employees on the importance of confidentiality, maintaining security and privacy, and handling the User's personal data.
- The appointment of an authorised person (Officer) for the protection and safekeeping of personal data.
We will not pass on, sell or transfer the User's personal data to third parties, other than those listed in this Privacy Policy and those with which we have a personal data protection agreement. Exceptionally, we may pass data to a third party where this is necessary to protect the User's vital interests, is required by law, is necessary for legal proceedings, is expressly requested by the User, or is necessary in order to respond to their request.
Personal data for which there is no longer a legal basis or consent for processing may be retained for statistical purposes or to keep a history of communication, but we will not process it in any way and will protect it from any unauthorised access or use.
It should be noted that, whatever measures we take to protect personal data, no website, electronic transmission, computer network or wireless connection is entirely secure.
What rights does the User have in relation to personal data?
At any time and without giving a reason, the User may exercise their rights in relation to the personal data being processed, other than in relation to data we collect under a legal obligation. Those rights are:
